The only archaeology trail in the Ennstal was opened in 2000 and is run by members of ANISA on a voluntary basis. It is a cultural highlight from the late Roman period. The visitor can follow a tour of a late Roman retreat settlement. Signposts and explanatory panels tell about life almost 2,000 years ago.
Author’s recommendation
If you only want to visit the archaeology trail, you can drive to the Burgstaller. From there it is only about 5 minutes on foot.
