The 2022 Trail of Lights

For the fourth time in a row, the Lichterpfad in Haus im Ennstal aims to brighten up the Advent season with a unique illumination of historic buildings, alleys and the church grounds - with the parish church, Katharinenkapelle, Karner, Pfarrhofgarten and Psaltersteig - offering locals and visitors a magical world of little surprises and special experiences.

Every visitor is invited to be inspired by the Lichterpfad 2022 motto - "In the Winter Garden" - and to create their own world of wonder.

When everything is hidden under a thick, white blanket, nature is resting and looking forward to the next spring, it is once again time for a walk through the illuminated snowy landscape in the centre of Haus im Ennstal. Visitors can, in accordance with applicable safety rules, freely and yet considerately, experience the market town of Haus in the special Advent light during a "fresh air walk" and at the same time capture atmospheric images and experience inspiring "glimpses of light".

The path of lights 2022/2023 dares to look at nature and imagine a garden of paradise that also blooms in winter. The view of the still distant spring or the memory of last summer shakes hands with the cold, icy winter and the seasons find each other - glimpses into the dream worlds of nature before its next awakening.

A Christmas market in an atmospheric ambience will be held daily at Schlossplatz from 08-11 December 2022 as part of the Path of Lights.

On all Saturdays, additional programme items, such as musical accompaniment, are planned at individual stations. The programme is constantly updated and can be read at www.lichterpfad.at.

The path of lights is illuminated on these days from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm. On all weekends, the path can be discovered individually: experience, pause, escape from stress and give new space to dreams.
