Turn-by-turn directions
From here, a gravel road leads over a slope to the Gladenterrasse and to Unterkurzheim, where there is the possibility to supply yourself with natural products directly from the "organic farm Judmaier" (Zehenthof).
Via Oberdorf, the Stockschloss and Gößmühle you reach Gimplach and via a climb to the Putzenberg and the high basin of Gai. Here you cross the golf course and come directly to the first refreshment stop, the Landhotel Reitingblick. Along the entire route you always have an imposing view of the Reiting.
The ride from Gai into the Laintal is now a bit more leisurely and arrives at the Kehrterrasse via Gausendorf. After descending through the Kehrwald, there are shopping opportunities in a few supermarkets before continuing along the railroad line to the southernmost point of the tour in the Gmeingrube with relics from the iron processing era.
On the way into the Laintal valley, we pass by the next stop, the Gasthaus Mossauer. Here we have excellent fried chicken. After a short rest we come to the steep climb "Forst" in the Laintal with 20%. After the effort, however, the beautiful view of the mountains of the Erzbergland from the high plateau at Haiderhof compensates.
Back over the Rötzgraben, the route leads at the foot of the quartz quarry with a final climb to Hafning and back to the starting point.
The route runs 2% on the main paved road, 83% on side roads and 15% on bike paths. The nature of these roads and paths are divided into 72% asphalt and 28% gravel
