Turn-by-turn directions
Walk to the entry point of the gorge, where the trail turns into a narrow path - leading onto stairs and ladders across wild waters and through steep rock walls. After a beautiful yet demanding walk, the gorge opens up to an impressive coombe. From there, it’s a 20-minute walk to Silberkar hut.
For the way back you can take the alpine high route - a very steep, impressive path. Starting to the left of the hut it leads to a great viewpoint and follows through a root covered trail to a fork. Follow the left, back to the starting point.
