This impressive tour leads along the road to the Erzherzog-Johann-Hütte, from there along a path below the hut over a bridge and further along the stream. After passing through a small piece of forest, you cross an open space and get to the mowing field. At the hut of the same name, turn northeast onto the next cirque to reach the Kammkarlspitz. Please note the wildlife sanctuary zones.

Author’s recommendation

With southern winds mostly favoured ski tour.

The guesthouses in Großsölktal invite you to stop after the ski tour.
