Austria-Via Ferrata Sinabell
The Sinabell was constructed in June 2012, and it is top-secured by metal foothold pegs and bars.
Sinabell's impressive southwest-facing wall can be seen from afar. At the summit, an alpine meadow, filled with flowers and grazing sheep, invites you to take a break with wonderful views across mountaintops from the Enns Valley and the Schladminger Tauern to the high-alpine terrain of 'Am Stein'.
Comments:
Due to constant C-rated via ferrata passages, especially for climbers with less experience, this via ferrata seems even harder. As a day-tour from the valley, due to the long hike up involving an over 1000 m vertical gain, this via ferrata is physically very demanding. If you include an ovenight at the Guttenberghaus, it becomes a beautiful half-day tour.
