Von der Bergstation Serlesbahnen folgt man dem Forstweg an der Ochsenhütte vorbei, zuerst leicht bergab dann wieder bergauf zum Einstieg ins Wassertal. Nach der Bachquerung folgt man dem Steig bergab durch das Wassertal, immer der Beschilderung Richtung Mieders folgend. Der Steig endet oberhalb von Mieders, wo man den Wiesenweg entlang zurück zur Talstation wandert.
