VIA FERRATA NÜRNBERGER HUT C/D
This via ferrata comes up to the trend of via ferrata nearby mountain huts, which makes a contribution to the revival of the „Hut tourism“.
2,5 – 3 hours from parking on driveway (short cut on walking path) over a forest hill to B´suchalm (mountain restaurant). Further on with lots of hairpin bends over valley edge . In a crossing to the supply cable car and then on the right side upwards to Nürnberger Hut (900 Hm/ 2,5 hours). Short way after the hut (sign boards) you follow the marked path on the right side to the wall foot (green sign board); 15 min.
Route / Path course:
Very steep at the starting (C/D), keeping to the right upwards and then along a ridge (C) in more flat area. Further on the left side of the following line (C), then more flat again and finally an upturn to the exit.
Descent: 2,5 hours; short way to a ridge (red arrow), then following the signposts to the “Niederl” descent path and descending on the right side to the hut and further on such as access.
