Turn-by-turn directions

Approx. 1 km after St.Jakob, near Kinzen, turn right and cross the bridge over the „Pfisctherbach“ stream. On a good alpine trail (trail sign no. 9) continue uphill to the left through the forest on the right side of the „Berglbach“ stream. After the forest border, cross the eastern slope to the left. Steeper and flatter areas alternate along the valley floor. At approx. 2500m of altitude the last steep step follows approx. 150 meters below the ridge. The ski depot can be found on the left side of the ridge back. Depending on the conditions, continue with crampons and ice axe along the exposed ridge to the summit in a northern direction. Beware of snowdrifts! The summit ascent is not always possible.

Descent: Along the ascent route.
