Summer and winter alike, the Oberbachernspitze is a popular touring destination for both guests and locals. Besides the 360° view, the view of the Zwölferkofel/ Croda dei Toni, the highest peak of the Sesto sundial, is particularly impressive.
 
IMPORTANT: Before starting any ski tour/snowshoe excursion, you must check the weather conditions and danger avalanches report, asking also experts (alpine guides etc.).

Turn-by-turn directions

The Oberbachernspitze is a popular touring destination for experienced ski tourers. When planning this demanding tour, pay special atention to the snow conditions. From Fischleinboden you head to the end of the valley and via the Bacherntal valley to the Zsigmondyhütte hut. From there, continue in the direction of the Büllelejochhütte hut and up to the summit of the Oberbachernspitze. The descent is via the same path.
