We love the Three Peaks. And we love ski tours through the snowy mountain world of the Sesto Dolomites. We combine both of these on the ski tour to the Sextner Stein/ Sasso di Sesto, true summit bliss is also guaranteed here, with a fantastic view of the pale giants rising to the sky in the sea of snow.

IMPORTANT: Before starting any ski tour/snowshoe excursion, you must check the weather conditions and danger avalanches report, asking also experts (alpine guides etc.). WARNING: The GPX data may differ from reality.

Turn-by-turn directions

The tour leads through the wildly beautiful Altensteintal valley from Fischleinboden directly up to the Three Peaks. According to many locals, it is particularly beautiful up there in winter. In winter, the shelters are not open, so be sure to pack provisions. The route is the same for the way there as well as for the way back.
