Skitour Hörndle

Ascent: 70 m past the barrier of the forest road up the narrow Sommersteig Nr. 15 through dense forest. Now continue straight on through sparse forest until you reach the forest road at 1860m. You can also follow the forest road from the car park for 3 km on a constant incline to this point. Straight across meadows and left past a new alpine hut to the steep slope below the Mitterhofer Alm. Cross this slope to the small material cable car (2150 m). Now diagonally into the hollow and to the right past the alpine pasture to the upper stable (2277 m). Through the left hollow to under a rock formation at 2480 m. To the right of this on the ridge (2560 m) and over the ridge to the right to the summit with cross. Descent as ascent.
