Short but difficult via ferrata in the Piccole Dolomiti

The Via Ferrata Carlo Campalani leads to the southern pre-peak of the Cima Carega. The rope-secured route is very short, but the key section at the entrance is not to be underestimated with a level D difficulty. With the help of some artificial footholds, the route goes vertically upwards for a few metres before the wall leans back and makes room for easier terrain. A detour to the summit cross of the Cima Carega and a stop at the Rifugio Fraccaroli round off the climb.
