A Hike along the Promenade in Brixen

From Adlerbrücke bridge (561 m), this hiking circuit skirts the magnificently landscaped Rapp Gardens past the confluence of the Rienz and Eisack rivers. Follow the left bank of the Eisack river to the Milland/Millan sports field before starting the ascent past the Ansitz Winkelhof Estate, as far as the Sanctuary of Maria am Sand (640 m). 

Head north along a flat path following the Karlspromenade and Psalmenweg trails as far as the Plabacher Chapel. Take Lüsner Straße street and cross the Rienz river following a shady path through the forest to the Andreas-Hofer-Brücke bridge (570 m). The trail leads across a well-kept landscape to the Seeburg Social Center (660 m), down past Kranebitt and into the center of Brixen. Enjoy the leisurely walk passing the picturesque old alleys of Stufels before returning to Adlerbrücke bridge.
