The Leiter Alm is located directly at the well-known Meraner Höhenweg at 1550 m.
It is located in the heart of the Nature Park Texelgruppe and is an ideal starting point for hikes and summit tours.
The Leiteralm offers their guests delicious traditional and international dishes.

Turn-by-turn directions


From the center of Algund you hike along trail no. 25A to Caffè Konrad. Following the same trail, you continue past the Schlundenstein natural monument to Vellau. From Vellau you follow the leader alpine path no. 26, which leads you to the mountain pastures Kienegger and Oberplatzer. From here you now rejoin trail no. 25A, which takes you directly to the top station of the Korb lift below the Leiter Alm.
If your legs are getting tired, it is recommended to take the Korblift and Sesselift on the way back.

Getting there


Via the Adige Valley, take the MeBo Highway to the Algund exit.
Coming from Vinschgau, Algund is just before Merano.
