The Leiter Alm (1550 m) - located directly on the Meraner Höhenweg.
Ideal starting point for hikes in and around the Texelgruppe Nature Park.
The Leiter Alm offers it's guests Brettljausen, as well as warm cuisine with traditional and international dishes.

Turn-by-turn directions

From the centre of Algund, you walk towards Algund Dorf and then to the Schlundenstein (path # 25A).
From there, take the Jägersteig until you come to the Vellau car park.
Follow path # 26, which is the Leiter Alpine path via Kienegger - Oberplatzer.
Then change to path # 25A. After the mountain terminal of the lift facility, you will see the Leiter Alm. 
Return journey is recommended by lift or chair lift.

Getting there

Via the Adige Valley, take the MeBo expressway to the Algund exit.
Coming from Vinschgau, Algund is just before Merano.
Arrival by train, car, foot or bike
