Short and easy family hike from Gossensass/Colle Isarco to ruins of Straßberg/Castel Strada near Ried/Novale. The castle is located on a hill on the ancient Brenner/Brennero road. At the beginning the castle was equipped with two drawbridges and a wall, but to date there are only some parts, such as sections of the walls, the battlements and the entrance tower preserved.

Turn-by-turn directions
Nice family tour to the Strassberg ruin. By the main place in Colle Isarco upwards to the Gasthof Nussbaumer and here on the right side passing the Hotel Gudrun and after the motorway underpass takt the trail at the right side into the forest. Stay on the trail until arriving to the ruin.
