Turn-by-turn directions

The starting point of the tour is the Völser Weiher lake. Follow hiking trail no. 1B to the Tuff Alm. Continue along trail no. 1 and then 1A to the Hofer Alpl. Follow trail no. 3 to the small village of Ums, where you then follow trail no. 2 to return to the Völser Weiher lake.

Getting there

You can reach the Völser Weiher by car or with bus line no. 13 (mid-June - mid-September) from St. Anton. You can reach the Völser Weiher in about 45 minutes on foot via hiking trail no. 1.

Schöne Wanderung mit praktisch gelegenen und leckeren Einkehrmöglichkeiten, abwechslungsreichen Passagen und tollen Ausblicken. Allerdings sollte insbesondere beim Abstieg von der Hofer Alpl nach Ums auf trittfestes Schuhwerk verwiesen werden. Mit unserer Tochter (2,5 Jahre alt) auf dem Rücken war es gerade so an der Grenze mit Wanderstöcken. Eine Wanderung der Kategorie „leicht“ war es zumindest in diesem Abschnitt definitiv nicht. Außerdem sind es am Ende des Tages ganze 2 km mehr Wegstrecke gewesen, bitte verbessern.
