Turn-by-turn directions

Route:
If you fancy a little change and a more demanding hiking trip, then we invite you to take the basket lift facility to the Leiter Alm. 
From there, take path # 24 until you come to the Hochgang refuge hut. 
For the return journey, take the Partschins path # 7 to the Gamplwiese (approx. 20 minutes), then turn sharp left. 
Walk across the Töllgraben and make your way to the Oberplatzer on path # 26. Walk down to the Kienegger and Vellau.

Getting there

Via the Adige Valley, take the MeBo expressway to the Algund exit and follow to Vellau.
Coming from Vinschgau, Algund is just before Merano.
