Description: Walking this Alpine ridgeway is a challenging task and therefore only advisable for hikers who are experienced, sure-footed and, above all, fit. From the scenery point of view, this trail does not have such open views as trail no. 4, for example. However, it does pass through some areas that are particularly remote such as the Sexten Dolomites, which is one of the scenic highlights of the hike.

Agudo – Pian dei Buoi – Rifugio Ciareido – Rifugio Baion – Rifugio Chiggiato – Sentiero degli Alpini – Forcella Jau de la Tana – Bivacco Tiziano – Bivacco Musatti – Forcella del Mescol – Meduce di Dentro – Forcella Nord di Torre Frescura – Forcella Vanedèl – Val di Mezzo – Bivacco Voltolina – Cengia del Doge – Val di San Vito – Forcella Grande – Rifugio San Marco – Forcella Piccola – Rifugio Galassi – Forcella del Ghiacciaio – Forcella Piria – Sella di Pradonego – Rifugio Antelao – Forcella Antracisa – M. Tranego – Pozzale – Pieve di Cadore
Return to Sesto: From Pieve di Cadore take the bus either via Santo Stefano and the Kreuzberg Pass to Sesto or via Cortina to Dobbiaco/Toblach and on to Sesto."
