The hike starts at the Pederühütte in the Rauhtal valley, which is in the immediate vicinity of St. Vigil in Enneberg. We follow the old and very steep military road, turn left and overcome a rocky terrain step via daring hairpin bends. Hikers with a head for heights reach a breathtaking high plateau. On trail no. 7 we hike through a shallow basin and then continue ascending to the Senneshütte.

Here we can take a first short rest before continuing along a forest path to the excursion destination Seekofelhütte. Those who wish to continue the long hike can hike from the Seekofelhütte to the Pragser Wildsee lake and plan the return journey via public transport.
