Turn-by-turn directions
On this special high mountain trail you can experience Val Martello in a different way. Start at the Gasthaus Enzian, go up to the Enzian mountain hut and take the forest road no. 8 to the Lyfi mountain hut. Continue on the high mountain trail no. 8 to the Kandlwaal irrigation channel and to Rosimi hut. If you continue on this path, you can reach the Schluder mountain hut. The Kandlwaal irrigation channel is one of the oldest irrigation systems and is still used for irrigating the fields. Continue on path no. 8 to Stallwies. Shortly afterwards, you have to take path no. 15 to Saugwies and then path no. 11 to Gasthof Premstl, from where you can reach Martello.
