Turn-by-turn directions

The tour can be started in the centre of Sesto (approx. 1.5 h more hiking time) or alternatively from the "Holzerhöfe" on the Außerberg/Monte di Fuori. Follow the prepared hiking trail across the "Wetzwiesen" meadows to the Jägerhütte hut. The way back is the same as the way there. Alternatively, you can descend via the forest chapel to Sesto or San Candido, or hike up to the mountain station of the Monte Elmo cable car.
