Adamello - Alpi Retiche meridionali: tour of the partner city Vicenza - Gernika - Pforzheim 2019
The Adamello-Presanella group is a large, 3000-3500 m high mountain massif on the southern edge of the Eastern Alps. It lies on the border between the Italian provinces of Brescia and the Autonomous Province of Trento, halfway between Lake Garda and Ortler group.
Our tour leads from the Val Genova in the west to the Val di Oglio in the north. Through lonely mountain valleys and mountain crossings up to the touristically and technically developed area of the Passo del Tonale.
Stage 1: Lake Malga Bissina 1700 m - RIFUGIO LISSONE 2020 m
On the way no .: 245 from the Malga Bissina on the Passo di Campo - Passo da Violo - Rifugio Lissone. Ascent of Mount Ignaga 2525 m from Passo Violo.
Stage 2: Rifugio Lissone - Malga Adamé - Passo Poia 2775 m - Rifugio Prudenzin.
From Passo Pola detour Cima Poia 2850 m
Stage 3: Rifugio Prudenzini - Passo Miller 2818 m - Rifugio Gnutti - Passo Guat - Rifugio Baitone
Stage 4: Rifugio Baitone - Rifugio Tonolini - Passo Premassone 2835 m - Lake Pantano - Passo del Lunedì - Rifugio Garibaldi.
Stage 5: Rifugio Garibaldi. - Temú.
From Temú it is recommended to take the bus to the Passo del Tonale. There is enough hotel and pension for an overnight stay.
