Starting at the Römerkehre (Römer- turn) at the Jaufenpass/Passo Giovo follow a wider way to the Flecknerhütte mountain pasture. Continue along trail no. 12B to the Fastnachter and then on trail no. 12 to the Fleckner. The return follows the same route as the ascent.
Variant 1: Starting with the mountain railway up to the mountain station Ratschings-Jaufen/Racines-Giovo, 1800 m. Follow the trail no. 13B to the saddel called Rinner Sattel and further on trail no. 12 to the Fleckner. The return follows the same route as the ascent.
Variant 2: Starting from the village Bichl/Colle in the Ratschingstal/Val Racines follow the path no.15 until the pasture Äußere Wumblsalm (not managed). From there forward on path no. 10A up to the Rinner Sattel and on the path no. 12 to the Fleckner. The return follows the same route as the ascent.

Ausgehend von der Römerkehre am Jaufenpass geht es auf breitem Weg bis zur Flecknerhütte. Von dort aus auf Weg Nr. 12B weiter bis zum Fastnachter und anschließend auf Weg Nr. 12 auf den Fleckner. Der Rückweg erfolgt auf dem Aufstiegsweg.
Variante 1: Mit der Bergbahn hinauf zur Bergstation, 1800 m. Von dort auf Weg Nr. 13B bis zum Rinner Sattel und weiter auf Weg Nr. 12 zum Fleckner. Der Rückweg erfolgt auf dem Aufstiegsweg.
Variante 2: Von Bichl aus geht es auf Weg Nr. 15 bis zur Äußeren Wumblsalm. Von dort aus weiter auf Weg Nr. 10A hinauf auf den Rinner Sattel und auf Weg Nr. 12 zum Fleckner. Der Rückweg erfolgt auf dem Aufstiegsweg.
