This scenic circular hike takes us through the Schlinig valley to the Sesvennah and into the mountain world of the Sesvenna group.

On this tour we first walk through the flat broad meadowland above the small village of Schlinig. Especially in spring, numerous colourful flowers impress here. At the Schliniger Alm we can take a short break before hiking towards the head of the valley. There a roaring waterfall roars down the Schwarze Wand. We pass this on the right and shortly afterwards reach the ruins of the Pforzheimer Hütte at an idyllic little mountain lake. From here it is not far to the Sesvennahütte, where we can relax on the sun terrace surrounded by an impressive mountain world. Finally, at the foot of the Vernungspitzen, a mountain path leads us back out of the valley to Schlinig.

Stand 07/2015.
