Piz da Peres (2507 m) is one of San Vigilio's local mountains. It rises above the village and, together with the nearby peaks of Munt Paracia and Monte Sella, watches over its inhabitants.

PIZ DA PERES (2507 m, H: 4 hours | 2 hours) The route starts at the Hotel Monte Paraccia
(signs No. 19). At the wayside cross turn right and follow waymark No.12 to the summit (4 hours). Alternatively, you can also follow waymark No.3 from Furcia Pass to the summit (2 hours).

Public transport
Busline 461 leads directly from Longega in San Vigilio to Hotel Monte Paraccia, the starting point for the mountain hike to Piz da Peres.Busline 463 takes you from Longega to the Furcia Pass, another option for reaching the summit of Piz da Peres.
By road
By express highway Rosenheim-Kufstein-Innsbruck-Brenner up to exit "Brixen", where you continue toward the Pustertal (Val Pusteria). After about 20 km on the Pustertal na-tional road, always heading toward Bruneck, you turn off to your right just before St. Lorenzen, into the Gadertal, heading towards Alta Badia. The SS244 carries you up to San Vigilio.Parking
