From the hamlet of Flading/Vallettina at the end of the Ratschingstal valley follow first the trail no. 12 and then trail no. 30 through the forest and then quite steep over a beautiful waterfall. Further up to the Gleckalm and the following the path no. 31B to the lake Glecksee. Continue until the ridge to the summit Ratschinger Weißen. The return is down along trail no. 31 until the Gleckalm and down to the bridge which cross the river. Straight ahead and steeply down until the trail no. 12 and back to the hamlet of Flading.

Turn-by-turn directions

Ausgehend vom Talschluss in Ratschings, Flading, Weg Nr. 12 und danach Weg Nr. 30 ansteigen.

Zuerst durch Bergwald und Almwiesen recht steil an einem schönen Wasserfall vorbei. In zahlreichen Kehren nun hinauf zur Gleckalm und weiter auf Weg Nr. 31B zum Glecksee. Am Glecksee vorbei bis zum Grat am Gipfelaufbau der Ratschinger Weißen. Auf dem großen Gipfelplateau steht ein schönes Gipfelkreuz. Für den Abstieg den Weg Nr. 31 am Bergrücken entlang bis kurz vor der Gleckalm. Den Boden querend, führt der Weg hinunter bis man die Brücke über den Bach quert. Anschließend geradeaus und steil hinunter bis zur Einmündung in den Weg Nr. 12. Diesem folgend bis zum Ausgangspunkt.

Getting there

Über die A22 bis nach Sterzing. Beim Kreisverkehr die 4. Ausfahrt nehmen nach Ratschings. Bis zum Talschluss fahren.
