Turn-by-turn directions
The counter-clockwise Duron valley tour begins in Compatsch on the Seiser Alm. The initial stretch leads along an easy tarred road, followed by forest roads leading uphill to the south-east. En-route to the Duron Pass you will pass by the Refuge Mahlknechthütte mountain hut as you make your way to the border with Trentino and the Duron valley comes into view. The following descent on MTB trail 908 leads to Campitello, where the Col Rodella cable car will whisk you up to around 2,400 m. Continue onwards past the Langkofel, Comici hut, Mont de Seura and Saltria and enjoy a full-speed descent, after which a brief uphill will take you back to your set-off point in Compatsch.
