This roundtrip leads the mountain biker around Agumes‘ local mountain and offers, next to a diverse terrain, breath taking views of the mountains of the Venosta valley. Starting from Prato, the trail goes via Montechiaro to the “Pinet” farms (1080m) and onwards via a gravel road to the highest point of the tour, the „Schart“ refuge (1830m). From there, the route continues via the farms of Stelvio downwards to Stelvio (1310m) and Stelvio Ponte, all the while enjoying the awesome view of the Ortles mountain range. Return to Prato via the main road SS38.

Turn-by-turn directions
Von Prad aus geht es über Lichtenberg zu den etwas oberhalb gelegenen Pinethöfen (1080m) und weiter über einen Schotterweg zum höchsten Punkt der Tour, der „Schart"-Alm(1830m). Von dort aus führt die Route, die Berge der Ortlergruppe immer im Blick, über die Stilfser Höfe hinunter nach Stilfs (1310m) und zur Stilfserbrücke. Von hier aus geht es rund 5 km über die Hauptstraße SS38 zurück nach Prad. Zwischen Stilfs und der Stilfserbrücke muss mit Tragepassagen gerechnet werden. Auf diesem Abschnitt wird um Rücksicht auf die Wanderer gebeten.

Getting there
Von Meran, sowie vom Reschenpass kommend die Abfahrt von Spondinig nach Prad am Stilfserjoch nehmen. Vom Dorfzentrum von Prad geht es, vorbei am Nationalparkhaus aquaprad über die Suldenbachbrücke zum Ortsfriedhof von Prad am Dorfeingang von Agums.Coordinates
