This fantastic mountain bike tour takes us twice over the main Alpine ridge in two stages, from Austria over the Italian border and through two large valleys, the Tuxer and Pfitscher valleys.

This very scenic and extremely varied mountain bike tour takes us in two stages twice the main ridge of the Alps, across the Italian border and through two large through two large valleys, the Tuxer Valley and the Pfitscher Valley. The route takes us over the Tuxerjoch, Flatscherjoch and Pfitscherjoch. Steep ascents are rewarded with flowing and technically demanding trails. On about 120 km we overcome almost 4000 metres in altitude.

Der Abschnitt von der Edelweißhüttte zum Schlüsseljoch war teilweise nicht fahrbar.Man muss einige Meter schieben.Einen Gepäcktransport gab es nicht,wir hatten unsere Sachen im Rucksack mit

Wahnsinns Tour mit super Panorama. Beim Tuxer Joch Trail muss viel geschoben/getragen werden. Übernachtung im Gasthof Steckholzer ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Super Rundtour mit vielen landschaftlichen Highlights. Einige Abfahrten sind für MTB-Anfänger nur teilweise fahrbar, v.a. der Trail ab dem Tuxer Joch (Trage-/Schiebezeit ca. 1h). Auch ich kann die Variante über das Schlüsseljoch empfehlen! Reine Fahrzeit ca. 18h. Tip: Tour um Brenner-Grenzkammstrasse erweitern. Zweite Übernachtung auf der Enzianhütte.
