Turn-by-turn directions

The starting point is at the car park "Fischleinboden" (1,454 m). The peaks of the Sesto sundial seem within reach from here. First, the trail is moderately steep on a cleared winter hiking trail to the Talschlusshütte at 1,548 m, which already invites you to take a first rest with its panoramic sun terrace. The path continues on the right into the Altenstein valley, past the Einserkofel/ Cima Una and up into the high valley. Finally, reaching the Drei Zinnen hut at 2,400 m, you reach the end of the tour. There is no need to worry about the hustle and bustle around the most popular hut in South Tyrol: it will not open its doors again until summer. The view is as impressive in winter as in summer. You won't find a more beautiful view of the spectacular north walls of the Three Peaks.
