Turn-by-turn directions

The walk begins in San Cipriano/St. Zyprian along trail no. 1 to the Passo Nigra/Nigerpass. Cross the pass road and follow the toboggan route until you get to the Malga Baumannschwaige hut. Then make your way up the steep trail to Tumlwiesen and Angelwiesen meadows. Along this stretch, you will find incomparable views over the Sciliar/Schlern, the Croda di Laurino/Laurinswand, the Latemar and the Torri del Vajolet/Vajolettürmen. Passing the Malga Haniger Schwaige hut, the trail leads down to the Malga Plafötsch/Plafötsch Alm mountain hut and over the Traunwiesen meadows back to the set-off point.
