The Rosskopf Sledging Trail at Sterzing is the longest floodlit winter sledging trail with artificial snow facility in Italy. It starts right by the Rosskopf cable car mountain station and runs for nearly 10 km round many twists and turns down to the valley station in Vipiteno/Sterzing where sledges can be hired.
Why not join a night-time sledging party on Friday evenings for a special experience on Vipiteno's local mountain. On these evenings the sledging trail is floodlit until midnight (cable car runs until 10 pm).
