With a total length of 3 km, the toboggan run of the skiing and hiking resort of Merano 2000 is ideal for families and fun group outings. The winter-time sledding track starts directly at the ropeway mountain station and leads through a picturesque forest all the way down to the valley station in Falzeben, where tireless sledgers can conveniently hop on the Falzeben gondola lift and return to the mountain station.
Toboggans can be rented at the ropeway mountain station and in Falzeben.

Getting there
On the MEBO (Highway Bolzano–Merano) you reach the slip road signposted MERAN SÜD, follow the road to Merano, then on the right hand side in direction to Hafling/Avelengo
Two possibilities to reach the summit station:
- parking place in Naiftal in Merano, ascent with the funicular Merano 2000
- parking place in Falzeben in Hafling/Avelengo, ascent with the cable car Falzeben
