The eventful 8 km long South Tyrol Strawberry Trail surprises with information boards about this small sweet red fruit. Val Martello is Europe`s highest strawberry cultivation area and this is why strawberries from Val Martello are particularly delicious. This family-friendly circular route starts at the Trattla sports and leisure center. Cross the bridge, turn right and follow path no.22.
During this hike you pass different farms and can thus get an insight into farmers life an work. Information material about this hike is available at the culturamartell visitor center.
