Das hintere Kleinwalsertal wird dominiert von den permanenten Blicken auf den Großen Widderstein. Der mächtige Felskoloss ist umgeben von steilen Allgäu-typischen Grasbergen. Diese Tour führt abseits der vielbegangenen Wege über steile Grasflanken und ausgesetzte Grate. Die Ausblicke sowohl ins Kleinwalsertal als auch in den Bregenzerwald sind fantastisch. Der Höhepunkt der Tour ist die Gratüberquerung über den Starzelgrat vom Derrajoch zum Starzeljoch, was auf der Beschilderung als leichter Klettersteig bezechnet wird. Es führt ein schmaler, ausgesetzter Pfad mit Seilversicherungen auf dem Grat entlang. Eine anspruchsvolle ruhige Tour.
