Located at about 8 km from Vigo di Fassa, it stretches on a wide meadow-covered saddle among the slopes of the Latemar range and the extreme reaches of the Catinaccio Massif.
The area is an ideal base for numerous skiing facilities which are especially family-friendly and ideal to beginners.
Overall, there are 40 km of downhill runs of various difficulty, serviced by artificial snow system. The area boasts 16 state-of-the-art and up-to-date uphill facilities: 8 ski lifts, 6 chairlifts and 2 cable cars.

Alpine and cross-country skiing, and freestyle are the most popular sports, but the area offers much more. If the view of the enchanted towers of the legendary Catinaccio - in German, Rosengarten ("Rose Garden") - is magical from the ski slopes, it is even more so as you approach it step after step with snowshoes on your feet. Carezza is the ideal base camp for experiencing all the romance of the snow-capped mountains, stopping in mountain huts or in the rustic lodges for a delicious and tasty meal. And how could we not mention the fun of downhill tobogganing on slopes lit even by night?

The ski area, which is easily accessible by car or ski bus from Vigo di Fassa, extends to Nova Levante and Passo Nigra. According to tradition, the ski slope "Prà di Tori" opposite Latemar annually hosts the parallel snowboard World Cup races. The presence of two baby-parks is sure to offer the thrill of thousands of white adventures for kids.
