The Satteljoch (Feudo Pass) can be reached in one hour, after going through the “Gamsstallscharte”. Then, the hikers have a beautiful panoramic sight of the east-side of the Latemar and the mountains behind. The ascent on the rocky trail (trail 516) to the Latemarhütte mountain hut (Rif. Torre di Pisa) (2,670 m) (1½ hours) is the most adventurous section of the hike. A delicious meal awaits the successful hikers. A pleasant descent is the reward for the difficult ascent. While returning via the northern slope into the Valsordakessel cirque and on the rocky trail on the southside (trail no. 18) to the Oberholzlift mountain station, the visitors are surrounded by mountain meadows with its special flowers, herbs and animals, who create an even more alpine athmosphere.
