Turn-by-turn directions
Route: starting from the Karerpass, follow trail no. 552 via the Hirzelsteig trail, continuing on trail no. 9 via the Vajolon Pass. Head on to the Rotwandhütte mountain hut on trail nos. 551 and 541. Return via trail no. 548 to the Karer Pass (challenging mountain hike, a good head for heights and good equipment are essential).

Getting there
Take highway's exit “Bolzano Nord/Eggental”, turn right direction Bolzano/Bozen, after about 0,5 km on roundabout keep left and head towards Val d’Ega (SS 241). Keep driving up to Ponte Nova. At Ponte Nova’s crossroads, turn to the left and continue to Carezza (about 30 min. from highway toll booth).Coordinates
