Turn-by-turn directions

This hike starts at Lago di Carezza/Karer See (1519 m) and leads along the Templtrail [8] through the Carezza forest. Paths [25A] and [25] then lead to the Hut Stadl Alm. For the way back take the same route. ATTENTION: The Hut Stadl Alm is closed in winter.

Getting there

Take highway´s exit “Bolzano Nord/Eggental”, turn right direction Bolzano/Bozen, after about 0,5 km on roundabout keep left and head towards Val d’Ega (SS 241). Keep driving up to Ponte Nova. At Ponte Nova’s crossroads, turn to the left in direction to Nova Levante and continue until the Lake Carezza (about 30 min. from highway toll booth).

With the public bus line 180 or 184; bus stop: Lake Carezza; online bus timetables: www.suedtirolmobil.info/en/

1 hour - 2 hours: € 2,00
2 hours - 6 hours: € 4,00

Up to 2 hours: € 10,00
2 hours - 12 hours: € 20,00
12 hours - 24 hours: € 30,00

After you have paid at the pay machine, you have 15 minutes to leave the parking lot.
