This snow-sure cross-country trail leads through the dreamlike winter landscape of the Postalm.
The Lienbach trail is a 5 km long cross-country trail, classic and skating. It leads slightly uphill through the Lienbach and through idyllic woods.
Refreshments available at the Almrestaurant Lienbachhof, car park P1, entry points directly at car park P1, public WC at the start, ski hire directly at car park P1.

Turn-by-turn directions
The Lienbachloipe ( cross-country skiing trail) starts at car park P1. At the beginning it runs past the plate and practice lift, a little way along the Postalmstraße (street). Now the trail leads into the forest, past a large clearing to an alpine hut. On the sunny alpine pasture, a large loop leads to the highest point of the trail. From here, it runs through an idyllic piece of forest back to the starting point.

Bus 159 drives every Monday and Thursday (except holidays). Departure from Abtenau town center 10.15 am - arrival Postalm 10.52am | Departure Postalm 03.00 pm - arrival Abtenau 04.25 pm
Getting there
Coming from Abtenau on the Postalm-panorama road (toll road), drive directly to car park P1.
Coming from Strobl via the toll road, drive directly to car park P1.
Please note the wintry driving conditions (chains are compulsory in some places!).
