The extension of the Egelseeloipe (cross-country ski trail) (entry after 2 km) begins with a relatively steep descent. The trail is classic and has a medium level of difficulty. Throughout the entire trail you can enjoy a magnificent panorama of the Osterhorn group and the Tennengebirge mountains.

Turn-by-turn directions

After 2 kilometres of the Egelsee trail, you have the option of branching off onto the Rossbühel trail. After a long descent, you have already reached the lowest point of the trail. From here, the trail leads towards the Reiter campsite (alternative parking and entry option), where you have a magnificent panoramic view of the Osterhorn group. After the turnaround point, the trail now continues steadily uphill towards the starting point, always with a panoramic view of the Tennengebirge. Now continue on the Egelseeloipe trail.
