The path leads through the light foliage forest to the Bodenbergalm and then to the 1526m high Bodenberg. The route leads us back through the Rinnbergalm to Russbach.

The alpine huts are open from the end of June to September and the dairy farmers serve excellent, homemade cheese specialties

Turn-by-turn directions
Steep climb to the top of a scenic mountain. At the start of the hike follow the Sonnseit’nweg, and at a left-hand turn cross the bridge. Now hike a short stretch along a forestry road, then turn right again. The path now runs through a series of broad hairpin bends to the Bodenbergalm, with a broad ridgeline leading to the Bodenberg (1523 m). Here you have splendid views of the surrounding mountains. At the trail fork, continue right to the Rinnbergalm, and then back to Russbach.
