The promising walk in the hiking region Dachstein West is perfect for gourmet hikers. The numerous pastures invite you to linger, always in view of the Dachstein glacier.

Russbach, the Austrian hiking village, is a paradise for gourmets, hikers and adventurers. Blossoming alpine meadows invite you to leisurely hikes, wonderful summit and climbing tours in fog-free, almost untouched nature. The magnificent view of the Hoher Dachstein and Tennengebirge accompanies you on all your hikes. Enjoy the good snack in one of the many cozy mountain huts.

Author’s recommendation

The alpine huts are open from the end of June to September and the dairy farmers serve excellent, homemade cheese specialties
