Turn-by-turn directions
Enter “Sentiero della Patata” in Vigo Lomaso, just below the church, near the San Rocco’s shrine conveniently placed in front of a carpark. Follow the lane leading to Vigo Lomaso’s church and after walking around the building, continue on the road for Poia. After about 1 km, just before the village entrance, follow the “potato path” to the left towards Campo Lomaso. When you reach Campo Lomaso, walk a few hundred metres along the pavement until you come to the town hall. Next, cross the road heading for the Franciscan Convent. Continuing along a country lane, passing in front of the convent, walk across the Piana del Lomaso. At the end of the plain, turn left to reach Dasindo where you will find the native home of poet Giovanni Prati and the church dedicated to S. Maria Assunta. As you walk through the village you will come across COPAG, the town market that collects and sells locally grown potatoes and other produce. After 700 metres, you will reach the starting point of this walk.
