Malga Bordolona is a farmhouse with a capital A. The philosophy that governs the Alessandri family is to offer genuine food from its own production or from local producers in the name of enhancing the territory.
Malga Bordolona is the starting point for wonderful excursions and walks in the "heart of the Maddalene". In fact, several paths start here, for example the 136 for the Trenta Alplaner See lake or the 133 Bonacossa which crosses all the Maddalene towards Lago Corvo or Passo Palade.Healthy and genuine foods are expertly prepared and privileging the recipes of the past linked to tradition. In this way you will be able to rediscover dishes that evoke distant aromas and flavors in memory such as polenta slowly cooked on a wood hearth.The milk produced on the pastures near the malga is processed giving life to different types of fresh or aged cheeses among which the fresh and sweet Casolet or the Nostrano with a strong flavor, without forgetting the fresh ricotta, perhaps combined with a local honey, or butter.The hut is open for lunch and dinner and has a well-stocked cheese shop. For lovers of unspoiled nature, the Alessandri family also offers the opportunity to stay overnight in the nearby Malga Bordolona Alta completely renovated in 2018.

Excellent accessibility through 12 km of paved road that starts from the town of Bresimo. From here, follow the signs for Malga Bordolona and continue on the paved road to the Malga car park.
