Malga Preghena can be reached by car thanks to a comfortable asphalted road. The hut is popular for its excellent production of cheeses and cured meats as well as honey and jams.
The Malga di Preghena, known as Malga di Preghena di sotto or "Malgazza", rises at 1925 meters above sea level and its longer side, as well as towards the splendid valley, looks towards the majestic Monte Pin. In an excellent sunny area, the Preghena hut offers ample space for picnics around the small lake just to the south, and some paths that lead to the most beautiful peaks of the Val di Non as well as of Trentino.At the malga it is possible to stop for lunches, snacks and dinners by reservation with own production of cheeses, butter, ricotta and jams.
