Once you have reached the lakes, it is worth visiting the Mas da la Val petting zoo and stopping off for a wholesome lunch prepared with local produce from the country house.
There is also a small inn near the lakes called Bait del Pizgagn. There are riding stables just after the lakes.
In Cavareno don’t miss out on relaxing with a coffee seated at one of the cafés in the delightful square or ending the day with some home-made ice-cream from Gelateria Cavallar!

The hike does not entail any technical difficulties. The lakes are not suitable for swimming.

Getting thereFrom the Trento Nord exit on the A22 motorway, take state road SS43 heading towards Val di Non and Val di Sole. Once you reach the Dermulo junction, keep right to travel back up the SS42 towards Mendola Pass until you reach the town of Cavareno.
The Cavareno sports centre offers a large free car park (5 minutes’ walk from the town square).
Another free car park near the historic town centre can be found near the dairy farm.
