Turn-by-turn directions
From the town of Cles or Tuenno, you can reach Lake Durigat along a long gravel road which does not require a traffic permit. You can leave your vehicle by this small lake. From Lake Durigat, take the gravel road SAT 313 to the foot of Peller Refuge, where you have the chance to try some delicious local dishes. Continue along the same gravel road towards Malga Clesera and shortly after the malga mountain hut on the left, you’ll see trail marker SAT 308 climbing up the Northern slope of Mount Peller up to Lake delle Salare. From here, follow the signs for the nearby Forcola Pass, where you will be able to enjoy an immense view of the green Pian della Nana. From the pass, climb gently down along trail marker SAT 336 to the nearby Malga Tassulla which sells some excellent malga cheese. Last but not least, still on your descent along gravel road SAT 336, you will make your way back to your car at Lake Dorigat.
By road
From Cles, make your way to the higher part of the town by following the signs to Bersaglio - Peller Refuge. At Bersaglio, turn right and follow the gravel road - with short asphalt-surfaced sections - for 15 km, leading to Lake Durigat at the foot of Mount Peller. You will need a Jeep or a high-ride car to travel along this gravel road because in some parts the ground is uneven and steep.Parking
There are 3 free car parks near Lake Durigat where you can leave your car even for several days. The first car park is located at Lake Durigat and has a capacity of 25 cars.
To reach the second car park, continue uphill from here on the left towards Malga Tassulla until you reach the no entry sign: there is another car park here with room for 30 cars.
You can reach the third car park by continuing on from Lake Durigat uphill on the right heading towards Peller Refuge. There is a small car park for 10 cars underneath the Refuge.
