One of the most rewarding via ferrata routes I've done so far. The parking lot in Biacesa is very small and can become full easily—as it was in our case—but there are plenty of free spots around the houses. From there you have signs towards the trail and bare in mind that there are 3 water wells until the ascent starts, so make sure to fill up your bottles with fresh cold water! I'd recommend at least 3L per person on a hot summer day, since you will go through 2L by the time you reach Cima Rocca and there are no water sources on the trail. The deion here says it's a fairly flat approach to the first via ferrata but we actually had a very steep ascent until then—must've missed a turn somewhere despite clearly following the signs. The via ferratas themselves are fairly easy, which is why I actually did them unclipped. It was simply faster and more convenient, but if you are a beginner then you should definitely clip in securely. After the first cable section the views become more and more rewarding, culminating with the Cima Rocca peak. I did not want to leave from there, being tempted to take more photos with every 10 steps. Astonishing view of the lake and surrounding mountain range; the vertical white walls around you make for a stunning contrast with the green canopy and turquoise lake!
